Altra Lone Peak 4.0- Reunited and they feel so nice!!

Initial impression…. life changing!!!

Pro’s:

Super Comfy with the perfect amount of Cush.
I think they look amazing!
The new treads are sticky and aggressive.

Love them!

Con’s:

Expensive.

My pair had a stitching issue which I had to remedy with a little surgery right out of the box. I am hopeful that they are fine and do not disintegrate.

I have had multiple pairs of the Lone Peak 3.0 neoshells. Last Altra pair was the Timp. Timp’s faired as well as any shoe on Katahdin’s Knife’s Edge could, so it was time for a new pair. I have been missing the Lone Peak’s but did not want to go with 3.5’s for various reasons. These have surpassed my expectation and I smile every time I put them on.

UPDATE: Have to figure out how to return because the super sticky sole separated from the shoe😢

Pros:

It vacuums your pad FOR you!!
Provokes Jetson’s flashbacks of Rosie the robotic maid.
It Works!!
Its a robot and that is awesome.
Relatively quiet and amuses the pets.
App enabled vacuuming while you enjoy other stuff…
Buy IT!

Con’s:

It”s expensive!! Not sure if the model number 980 was intended to be its price as well?? Sets you back about $900!! Worth every penny!!
Gets stuck occasionally.
Small bin which may require frequent emptying.
